Key requirements of the new website were to:
We immersed ourselves in understanding the charity's mission, strategy, and branding needs. Collaborating closely, we guided the charity through five essential stages: wireframing, design, development, content population, and launch.
Our approach ensured that the charity’s staff could make informed decisions throughout the project on website navigation, design, and functionality.
The newly-designed charity website is built on an easy-to-administer CMS that features intuitive navigation, key functionality, and SEO best practices. Hosting and ongoing technical support are being provided now the site is live.
The site includes a fully-integrated donation system with an eye-catching totaliser to help drive support across multiple campaigns and appeals. The website has a cohesive look aligned with Y&S Hospitals Charity branding, reflecting the visual elements of the different hospitals, so readers can engage with their local hospital’s content and choose to donate directly to them. New ‘You’ve funded it’ pages were designed exclusively to share stories of the positive differences donations are making – enhancing communication of the charity’s and supporters’ impact, and encouraging continued support. For hospital staff, there is now a clear online pathway to support grants and charitable funding.
This charity website design not only raises the charity's profile among their communities and hospitals, but also strengthens the charity brand, and makes it easier for supporters to engage and contribute to the cause.
