Social Care TV is the UK’s leading provider of e-learning for health and social care providers.
The organisation was looking to take their learning products from DVD to an online platform, supported by ongoing digital marketing. The platform had to cater for the needs of individuals as well as organisations looking to train their whole staff. The requirements of the platform demanded a bespoke solution.
Social Care TV
Adept initially worked with Social Care TV to plan the overall user journey, to establish the key requirements of the platform. This allowed us to critique the information architecture, to ensure the system would be extremely easy to use for non-technical users.
Once we'd established the key requirements, the design of the platform needed to give users complete confidence in the learning materials, especially those looking to make a larger purchase of credits. Our team of designers developed the Social Care TV brand while creating the website to help establish this confidence.
Social Care TV is built on Unicity CMS, which allowed us to create a platform that works for the client and aligns with the needs of their users. The website allows managers to purchase credits and enrol their staff on courses completely self-service, while trainees conduct their learning by watching video clips and taking online tests. The website provides certification on completion of a course, and incorporates a range of additional reporting and management features.
The website has been running for over 10 years and is now on its third version. Each release has seen further developments that benefit the thousands of site users, and has improved conversion rates and revenue for Social Care TV.
The Social Care TV website has grown substantially, serving over 600,000 users streaming millions of courses.
Adept provide ongoing hosting and support, as well as digital marketing support through email marketing and online advertising.
